We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who is passionate about creating customer value. You will join a dynamic environment and work with global cross-functional teams to ensure that product development is in line with the strategy. Product Management fills an important role in Munters organization. In Air Treatment we are continuously working on areas such as product development, planning and marketing of products.

The Original Equipment manufacturer (OEM) components cover all types of applications within Air Treatment and the portfolio is very profitable. The Product Manager OEM Components will lead and drive the OEM component product portfolio which is expected to grow at a fast pace. The portfolio consists of Munters core components which includes or Rotors and Wet media. These products are included in our de-humidifiers and our humidification products that Munters sells, but we also sell these products as components to external customers. Main applications are Pharma, Data Center cooling, Electronics, Utility and other manufacturing.

The position will report to the Global Director of Product Management, Business Area Air Treatment

Key Responsibilities

This will be a varied role that will encompass all aspects of product management, and will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • The role requires that you provide high level technical support for a wide range of products. You will need to gain and maintain in-depth knowledge of products and applications, in order to support and increase competency within our sales organization.
  • Manage the OEM components product portfolio and work closely with R&D and Operations
  • You will regularly attend customer sites. Gather insights and VoC (Voice of the Customer) and translate into profitable growth of the portfolio.
  • Support the Segment strategies by creating an OEM component product strategy and ensure that product development is in line with the strategy and secure that deadlines are met
  • Drive and initiate new product development projects and ensure that we do things right and do the right things.

Our ideal candidate has a natural drive and a willingness to change. You have a strong customer focus with a pro-active can-do attitude and are able to create customer value. A high level of technical knowledge and a strong business acumen is a must. You have excellent planning and organizing skills and communicate with ease both verbally and in writing. Swedish and English is a must, other languages are an advantage. Your thinking is analytical and are able to see the big picture and the operational implications. 

We would expect you to have:

  • MSc in Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 5-10 years of experience within B2B Sales&Marketing and/or Product management.
  • Technical education/experience of B2B marketing and/or sales of technically advanced products
  • Good PC knowledge including MS Office

This job requires 30-50 days of travelling.
