The extensive experience in process climate optimization, heat recovery and other upgrades provides optimal efficiency and performance improvements. Our aim is to help secure the customers perfect climate, maintaining the efficiency of their equipment and ensuring uninterrupted, fault-free production.

The Service Manager has a pivotal role in our Global Services business by actively managing and developing the Service Business with the ambition to become customer’s preferred supplier. In line with Munters Service Strategy, the new Service Manager India will drive the development of the capabilities to Sell, Deliver and Manage Service.

The role is ideally suited for a dynamic Service Manager or Engineer who is looking for career advancement as part of the Munters Global Services organisation

The position will be based at our Munters office in Pune.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

As the new Service Manager India your main responsibilities will be to create a sustainable growth plan for Services India and to ensure the department target is achieved within the expected time frame. A key task will be to develop and nurture strategic markets and key accounts. Another pinpointing area is to ensure continuous development of staff skillsets.

  • On-going leadership, development and training of the service team (including setting objectives)
  • Prioritizing and coordinating daily Service activity
  • Strategy & Marketing
  • Financial Planning & Reporting
  • Provide technical support and assist in system commissioning, upgrading and refurbishment at customers site as and when needed
  • Monitor and report competitive activity
  • Carry out engineering design solutions
  • Compile quotations and cost sheets
  • Deal with warranty procedures and customers complaints
  • Maintain good customer relationships
  • Raise company profile in target markets
  • Manage approved suppliers and contractors

Education /Knowledge/ Skills / Ability

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Advance Diploma qualified would be considered)
  • Experience with focus on field service
  • Experience in managing a service business/department ideally within the Air Treatment Industry
  • Knowledge HVAC, Refrigeration or Air Handling experience
  • Knowledge of BMS and system control and integration
  • Ability to quickly establish credibility across the organization to drive change
  • Solution driven, with developed analytical and project management skills
  • Strong customer focus and persistent business approach
  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with people at all levels and in a multicultural environment
  • Fluent in English, Other language a plus
