This role has been created to better support our customer base across EMEA and to build and develop a new function of Inside Sales at Munters. As an Inside Sales Team Manager you will be leading and pushing for growth on the inside sales channel and help grow an international customer base of SME customers.

This is a new role which initially focuses on building an Inside Sales channel and team. An important part of your tasks and responsibilities will include overseeing cooperation with other departments, specially the field sales teams, to understand your customer needs and provide the best solutions to them.

You will be working in an international team located in our Munters office in Brentford, Greater London, UK.

Key Activities & Accountabilities

  • Embedding inside sales excellence in Munters portfolio
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the EMEA inside sales team working on targeted campaigns
  • Establish and continuingly improve inside sales function and it’s processes
  • Proactively identifying new strategies to increase lead generating efficiencies and revenue growth
  • Take a lead role as an Inside Sales Engineer for a selected number of accounts. Covering aspects such as business development, order entry, quotations, contract review, and customer follow-up
  • Assist in development and monitoring of sales forecasts, liaising with key finance and management functions
  • Prepare reports for management team as necessary including sales pipeline management
  • Support finance on the resolution of outstanding payment by customers
  • Build a close, collaborative working relationship with other internal functions including field sales teams, manufacturing, logistics and engineering teams

Skills & Abilities & Education

  • Fluent in English and ideally one of the following European languages: Dutch, French, Finnish, German, Italian, Swedish, and Spanish.
  • Proven track record as Manager of a similar Inside Sales team:
    • minimum 5 years inside sales experience
    • in outbound prospecting and growing the sales pipeline
    • management experience
    • work in an international environment
    • technical or manufacturing industry background would be advantageous
  • An engineering degree would be desirable
  • Excellent understanding of inside sales processes
  • Very good sales coaching skills and dedication to inspiring and developing others
  • Experience of using Salesforce
  • Must be willing to travel on occasion
