Your mission

As a plant manager in Horstmar/Germany you are responsible for a flawless production run and you will develop structured and efficient process operations. In cooperation with the Reventa-team you will not only optimize productivity, but also the efficiency, the workload and the service level of the plant. The plant manager will be the connecting link between all involved departments and the management. Within the Munters’ matrix organization you are in close contact with other business areas and manufacturing facilities, which are located all over the world, to generate synergies and further developments.

Your responsibilities

In your position you are responsible for the Reventa “Operations”-division. You will lead around 90 colleagues from different departments, such as production, logistics, warehouse, job planning preparations, etc., directly respectively indirectly. You report directly to the Vice President Operations EMEA.

  • In particular, your area of responsibility includes the following topics:

    • Optimize existing production processes to increase capacities, quality and to improve profitability
    • Planning, developing, and introducing measures to achieve the budget-goals (set up a forecast)
    • Production- and lead time calculation
    • Implementing, adjusting and developing Lean Management
    • Developing and introducing (key) performance indicators for a continuous improvement process
    • Reporting (controlling, developing actions, solving approaches to evaluate risks)
    • Developing, motivating and training the management
    • Proactivity when irregularities and risks occur
    • Adherence and compliance of the specific organizational and legal requirements to the quality management
    • Compliance with environmental, health- and safety-regulations
    • Obligation to exercise diligence

Your interface within the company

  • Ideally you have successfully completed a technical college or university degree, preferably in mechanical engineering
  • Several years of experience in a similar position with leadership-skills to manage an organisation, budget- and results- responsibilities
  • Experiences in internattional matrix-organisations
  • You are familia with implementing processes, such as Change Management
  • Preferably deeper knowledge in regard to Lean Management
  • Skills in using tools like 5S, Value Stream Map, Kaizen, One Piece Flow, Pull
  • Good understanding for numbers like manufacturing- and product costs, as well as knowledge in genereal economic coherences and ability to forecast in a ERP-system are mandatory
  • You are assertive and can communicate on different levels
  • You are able to work in a team, willing, dedicated, and committed
  • You are fluent in German AND English
