The Regional Team Leader Netherlands has a pivotal role in our Global Services business by actively managing and developing the Field Service Technicians in the Netherlands.

This is an office based role either located in Alphen or Almelo. However the job requires regular travel to maximise the support for the Field Service Technicians.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

As the new Service Manager your main responsibilities will be to create a sustainable growth plan for Services Netherlands and to ensure the department target is achieved within the expected time frame. A key task will be to develop and nurture strategic markets and key accounts. Another pinpointing area is to ensure continuous development of staff skillsets.

  • On-going leadership, development and training of the Field Service Technicians, provide regular performance feedback
  • Ensures all customer inquiries are dealt with in the given timeframe and to the best possible customer satisfaction
  • Analyses and reviews existing processes and suggest process improvements to maximise our efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensures that the Technicians have the appropriate training and all required resources in order to perform their jobs on customers sites
  • Supports the Regional Service Manager with daily operation of the service department including the development, analyses and implementation of staffing, training, marketing, strategic initiatives and systems
  • Conducts team meetings to update members on best practices, deadlines, goals and continuing expectations
  • Raises company profile in target markets
  • Provides quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering enquiries, and effectively handling customer complaints

Education /Knowledge/ Skills / Ability

  • Technical degree or a technical advanced diploma
  • Proven experience as Team Leader or Supervisor
  • In-depth knowledge of performance metrics
  • Solution driven, with developed analytical skills
  • Strong customer focus and persistent business approach
  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with people at all levels and in a multicultural environment
  • Fluent in Dutch, very good English skills, other languages a plus
