The extensive experience in process climate optimization, heat recovery and other upgrades provides optimal efficiency and performance improvements. Our aim is to help secure the customers perfect climate, maintaining the efficiency of their equipment and ensuring uninterrupted, fault-free production. 

 

The Operations Manager has a pivotal role in our Global Services business by overseeing the need of resources and planning in order to operate a smooth Service business. The Operations Manager will support recruiting, retaining and developing Service Technicians with the ambition to steadily grow the business.

 

This is an office based role at our Munters office in Amesbury, USA, MA.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

As the new Operations Manager your main responsibilities will be to ensure the continuous development of our employees to support a sustainable growth plan for Services in US and to develop and evaluate the service reports to measure the departmental performance.

  • On-going leadership, development and training of the service team
  • Manage field supervisor accountability measures and administration of supervisory responsibilities to ensure successful progress and completion
  • Develop and evaluate analytical service/install reports to measure departmental performance and excellence in operations. Reviews analytical reports regularly with upper management
  • Net sales and order forecasting, margin management
  • Assist in evaluating field services employee work schedules and performance to ensure productivity of time and personnel
  • Ensure that parts and supplies are readily available to our technician by building good relationship with the Materials Department
  • Ensure that our technician have the right material and resources available to perform their jobs on customer sites
  • Participates in regularly scheduled service dispatch meetings and is responsible to provide feedback and if applicable subsequent action
  • Observes all safety, company rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
  • Raise company profile in target markets

Requirements

  • Technical Degree or MBA or similar
  • Previous field staff management experience required
  • Excellent project management skills - Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to plan and organize multiple processes, prioritize duties and meet deadlines
  • Ability to quickly establish credibility across the organization to drive change
  • Solution driven, with developed analytical skill
  • Leadership and management skills with an emphasis on setting direction, executing goals and coaching to inspire success
  • Strategic thinker who is able to perform well in a multitasking and changing work environment. Passionate about being a member of a leadership team positioned for dramatic growth
  • Good Understanding of P&L
