Your role

The Lean Coordinator will support and facilitate the implementation of Munters Production System (MPS) processes within Operations (Engineering, Assembly and Supply Chain), and Sales.  He/She will work with the local team members, team leaders, management and support staff to develop a culture that drives improvement. This focus will be directed primarily at improving the environment for the local team allowing them to produce product with higher quality, improved efficiency and improved safety.

Your activity

  • Analyze actual sales and production flows and processes, with specific focus on quality improvement, lead time reduction and cost reduction for the Dison Factory primarily and our Czech Factory secondary
  • Support the product re-design activities, with the aim to reduce assembly time and consequently assembly costs
  • Facilitate and support team manufacturing initiatives including set-up reduction, 5S, workplace organization, standardized work process/work flow improvements, just–in-time principles, cellular production processes, Gemba walks and visual management.
  • Implementation of lean manufacturing practices, improving internal business processes (Within Engineering, Scheduling, Purchasing, Production, Shipping and others), change management, training processes and developing systems that sustain ongoing improvements
  • Manage improvement projects inside the Operations and Sales organization, guaranteeing cross-functional feedbacks
  • This job will be hands on in a production environment working with the local team
  • Share best practices with other Munters Sales and Operations organization

Your profile

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering minimum or equivalent by experience 5+ years operational experience in a Manufacturing, Assembly or Engineering environment
  • Good experience in implementation of Lean/Six Sigma in Assembly and Engineering process
  • Understanding of Lean Office
  • Excellent understanding of TPS, Ohno Circle
  • Implementation experience of SMED, OTED, 5S,Visual Management, VSM, Gemba Walks and Poka-Yoke and their link to QC
  • Experience in product/process cost reduction activities
  • Certified Lean Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt or Shainin Red X preferred
  • Results based leadership style
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluent English skills and good French skills
