Brief description of the function

The candidate will give technical support to our customer by visiting them and fixing their units; he/she will give all technical information for the best installation and use of Munters systems. He/She will also prepare A/S proposal for spares, installation and maintenance activities both in a reactive and, above all, in proactive way.

Travelling time: 50-70%                                                                      Possibility of home office

Area of interest: North-West Italy

Main activities

Activity 1:       Customer’ technical support 
Tasks:

  • Repair customer units on site or inside our workshop (future)
  • Attend service contract and scheduled maintenance
  • Give customer all technical information necessary to install and use our systems in a best way
  • % time:  50/70 % (seasonal)

Activity 2:       Installation, commissioning and start-up 
Tasks:

  • Manage sub-contractors for systems installation, including utilities connection (electricity, gas and steam) piping, connection to other systems, etc.
  • System start-up and unit’ performance check
  • % time: 20 %

Activity 3:        Service sales activities 
Tasks:

  • Proactive: promote A/S sales by contacting and visiting existing customers. Look for new ones using installed databases.
  • Reactive: prepare A/S quotes (including spare parts, installation and maintenance contract proposal) on customer request
  • % time:  30/10 %

What we are looking for

Education levelHigh school / Bachelor Degree

Experienceat least 3-7 years in a similar position

Major skills and competencies:

    • Strong technical background (mechanical or electrical diploma ideally)
    • Microprocessor /automation control system programming and start up.
    • Experience in the humidification/dehumidification/industrial air conditioning and similar businesses might be an important asset
    • Intensive travels (Italy)
    • Self-discipline in order to be able to cope with working from home office (or already used to work from home office is an asset)
    • Fluency in English written and spoken
    • Informatics’ knowledge (Windows, Office, etc.)
    • Sales/Negotiation skills to deal with customers on site
    • Eagerness to learn quickly
