Our high quality equipment is supported by a global field service and sales network to ensure optimal performance of our units and close customer relationships.

The central Service organization drives development of products, people, processes and tools and ensures best practice implementation and continuity of operations worldwide. The Product Manager has an important role in our Global Service business to drive the process from service product design to country launch implementation. You will be part of developing the next generation of Munters services products and agreements. . The role requires you to interact with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally.

The Product Manager will be part of the Global Services Product Management and Marketing team.

Position requires some travel and placement is preferably in Sweden (Kista) but can be also in the Netherlands (Alphen aan den Rijn), Belgium (Mechelen) or United States (Amesbury, MA).

Key duties & Responsibilities

As a Product Manager in Global Service you have the full ownership of your part of the Service Product portfolio including R&D activities, certifications, design reviews, technical documentation, pricing strategy and operational launch.

You will work cross-functionally to develop impactful and innovative revenue-generating products and services by driving product ideation, product requirements, value propositions, business cases, and solid go-to-market strategies. A big focus will be on developing the intangible Services offering as well as actively participate in development of digital solutions for Services sales and customer interfaces.

  • Interact with Sales and customers to understand current and future needs.
  • Create the roadmap for your part of the Service product portfolio and drive development accordingly.
  • Develop new product and services ideas; build business case, get buy-in from key stakeholders and execute on the plans.
  • Manage service product life cycle by collaborating with Product Management for Business Areas, R&D, Sales and Operations.
  • Manage the product marketing strategy through the analysis of customer characteristics, competitive landscape and market trends.
  • Facilitate productive and cross-functional relationships via effective and consistent communication.
  • Develop, manage and implement suitable business models and pricing strategies for your portfolio.
  • Interact with internal departments, such as, R&D, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Finance, IT and various others, in order to build and implement service offerings for new Munters products and equipment in our installed base.  
  • Support Sales and Field Service during rollout of new services and concepts to market.

Education & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar work experience
  • Product management experience from B2B industry
  • Experience in connected and/or outcome based Services is an advantage
  • Experience working in a global Service organisation is an advantage
  • HVAC related product experience is an advantage
  • Experience with Sales in industry B2B is an advantage
  • Comfortable working in a global matrix organisation
  • Ability to establish strong relations across organization
  • Team player with change management skills
  • Strong communication skills in multicultural environment
  • Ability to work independently
  • ‘Can do’ attitude, strong customer focus and drive for results
  • Fluent in English, other languages a plus
  • International travel 20-30%
