The Product Manager has a pivotal role in our Global Service business to coordinate from the service product design down to country launch coordination. As Product Manager you will lead all Spare Parts and upgrade related product activities within the company and manage stakeholders both internally and externally. The Service Product Manager will be part of the Global Services Management team.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

As a Product Manager in Global Services you have the full ownership of your part of the Service Product portfolio including R&D activities certifications, design reviews, technical documentation, pricing strategy and operational launch assurance.

You will work cross-functionally with priorities to develop impactful and innovative revenue-generating products and services by driving product ideation, product requirements, value proposition, business cases, and solid go-to-market strategy.

  • Drive your part of the Service product portfolio by maintaining 12-24 month roadmap for product portfolio
  • Develop innovative, revenue-generating new product and services ideas; build business case, get buy-in from senior leadership and execute on the plans.
  • Responsible to implement all activities within Global Services project framework of People, Process and tools to design, develop and manage.
  • Manage service product life cycle management by collaborating with Product Management for all Business Area, R&D, Service Sales and Operations.
  • Manage the product marketing strategy through the analysis of customer use cases from the horizontal as well as industry vertical perspectives, understanding of the competitive landscape, and deep awareness of market trends.
  • Facilitate productive and cross-functional relationships via effective and consistent communication
  • Develop, Manage and implement pricing strategy.
  • Interact with organizations, such as, R&D, Operations, Business Development & Strategy, Marketing, Sales Operations, Solutions Engineering, Finance, and various other technical and non-technical organizations, and build consensus in order to execute and bring new product/services ideas to market

Education /Knowledge/ Skills / Ability

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Five or more years in a product management role or similar
  • Experience with product ideation process for new, innovative products or services by collaborating with cross-functional experts
  • Strong product management skills to execute product or services initiatives, moving them from inception to launch to life-cycle management.
  • Comfortable in working in matrix organisation.
  • Proven ability to think independently manage product management/ development process
  • Ability to quickly establish credibility across organization, from shopfloor to C-level, to drive change
  • Strong communication skill in multicultural environment
  • ‘Can do’ attitude and strong drive for results
  • International travel 30%-40%
  • Fluent in English, other languages a plus
