This position is based in Chiusavecchia, Imperia, and the task of this position is to manage and lead the product launches from our factories in Italy, US and Israel. The successful candidate will apply strong project management skills to bring new or modified products to the market in collaboration with colleagues in Product Management, R&D, Marketing and Sales. The position forms part of a global marketing team, hence the candidate will need co-operation skills and be a good team-player.

Project Management responsibilities include

  • Review project proposals to verify the stakeholder goals and requirements, desired time-frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project.
  • Provide expertise in the development of project plans specifying goals, strategy, cost estimation, relevant marketing activities, and allocation of available resources.
  • Lead discussions to define correct positioning of the new product, convey customer needs, competitive pressures, available communication channels and carefully crafted key messages to be conveyed to the target audiences.
  • Formulate and define the scope and objectives of the project from a marketing point of view.
  • Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones and required tasks.
  • Plan, follow-up and report project scope, schedule, resources, budget and risks.
  • Manage systems and tools to a successful implementation according to the Project Management methodology and following Munters own product development process (MPD).
  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, budget goals and objectives.
  • Communicate plans, status, and issues to higher levels of management.
  • Track all activities against the plan, monitor costs, timescales and resources used.
  • Work cross-functionally with relevant departments to achieve project targets.
  • Lead status review meetings among project team members and internal stakeholders.
  • Create communication plans, ensuring that appropriate information is exchanged among key stakeholders.
  • Integrate and use Project Management methodologies.

Other related assignments include, but are not limited to, collaborating with in-house staff to design, edit and deliver various departmental ad hoc marketing-style publications, such as brochures, post cards, fact sheets and training materials; creating executive-level PowerPoint and other presentations for use at high-profile customer events.

Preferred Skills and Education

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications (minimum).

Minimum of five years working experience in a similar type of role, preferably in a B2B environment.

Project Manager has expertise of project management principles, theories and concepts. Contributes to the development of new methodologies and processes.

English well spoken and written is an absolute requirement.

Demonstrated success in leading marketing projects and delivering smart and cost-efficient product launch projects from a marketing perspective.

Skills in MS Project and other MS Office tools.

Proficiency in Adobe softwares such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere are advantageous.

Experience following a standard project management methodology.

Excellent organizational, communications (written and verbal).
