Our R&D department is on a growth journey, and we are now searching for a Technical Product Responsible to join our team in Kista, Stockholm. Job Description and Responsibilities

As Technical Product Responsible (TRP) you will be responsible for maintaining and developing one of our product ranges. Together with Product Manager, Operations (production, sourcing, quality) and Service, you enhance sales and profit for the product group through redesign, new features on existing products, solving quality issues etc.

Technical Product Responsible is an engineer who takes the technical responsibility for a range of products by delivering products/ technical solutions with good and long-lasting mechanical designs:

  • Maintain high quality on existing platforms, structures and components
  • Ensure that the products fulfill current, and upcoming, laws and regulations
  • Drive and participate in product upgrade projects
  • Prepare technical documents (CAD, drawings, tech data sheet, mechanical calculation…)
  • Lead and participate in new product development projects
  • Drive and participate in cost and lead time reduction activities
  • Improve the features and performance of the existing products
  • Strengthen and improve our knowledge on the application and technology
  • Drive and participate in continuous improvements within the Engineering team
  • Drive and coordinate communication between stakeholders

Experience and Skills Required

To be successful as a TPR you must have a good basic education in mechanical/ mechatronics engineering, ie Bachelor, Master or similar experience, as well as at least 5 years of practical experience as a mechanical engineer and or within technical project management. Fluency in both Swedish and English is a requirement.

Furthermore, we believe that the right candidate has previous experience from the following systems and tasks:

  • CAD and PDM: Solidworks and ePDM is an advantage
  • HVAC Systems
  • Sheet metal design
  • Plastic design
  • Understand and read electrical Schematics and electrical technical documentation
