Ihre Mission

As a Key Account Manager (KAM) in the WET Component Sales Team Germany, you will be responsible to achieve sales growth, profits and defined targets of Direct Evaporative solutions through the OEM/AHU sales channel within Germany and Dach regions and the possibility to take responsibility for additionally EMEA regions. You will also be responsible to develop and implement sales and marketing plans for the promotion of Direct Evaporative products in the assigned region. Lead and direct the development by proactive short and long Strategy plans and relevant business metrics based on company strategy, goals and growth objectives. The role is based in one of our European sales offices in Aachen or Hamburg, Germany with home office option. The role requires frequent travel within the assigned regions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop the WET Component business in the assigned countries, identifying key customers, opening the opportunities to major projects and manage the sales process
  • Preparing sales quotations and negotiate in obtaining sales or complex proposals 
  • Work in close cooperation with the WET Component Sales Manager and the other KAMs in the region to optimize coverage and sales development in Germany + Dach regions and EMEA
  • Together with the WET Component Sales Manager and BU leaders to implement operational action plans, set up growth plans and targets in assigned countries
  • Drive the implementation of the EMEA Component strategy in the assigned countries and collect local Customer feedback and share it regularly with sales and segment
  • Implement sales and marketing plans for the promotion of the WET component products in the assigned area
  • Customers support: acting as the main contact between the company and its existing and potential customers. Supporting the customer during the process selections, orders, applications and requests, spare parts inquiries, public tender procedure, in all kinds of questions, requests and needs.  
  • Evaluate and propose new business opportunities, growth activities and create partnerships

Experience & Education & Requirements

  • At least  5 years of experience in related fields like KAM or Sales Manager
  • Degree in Engineering/Business or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Sales activities preferably within HVAC industries
  • HVAC, Refrigeration or Air Handling experience or knowledge
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Ability and willingness to travel
