As Service Supervisor, you will be the first point of contact for a group of enthusiastic Service Engineers in the Netherlands and your tasks will range from monitoring the daily operations to optimizing processes to reporting and giving input on forecasts. You proactively come up with ideas to shape and develop the organization of your department. You make sure that every team member can do his/her job in a good way. You will be responsible for putting the right people in the right place and make sure that agreements with the customer are met. Besides the order of the day, you think about the optimization and development of the department. You get the freedom to think about how things can be made easier and faster while always ensuring a safe way of working. The effect of your approach? Key Activities & Responsibilities

  • Coach the team and ensure close collaboration within the team (i.e. prepare and have regular team meetings).
  • Schedule and plan company resources in an efficient and well implemented system. Ensuring at all times that the engineering works schedule is monitored and where required changed to suite the dynamic nature of the organisation and its clients.
  • Ensure warranty calls, customer breakdowns and complaints are dealt with effectively and in accordance with our procedures.
  • Support the forecasting process accurately through control of backlog and interfacing with other relevant departments.
  • Ensure accuracy of all contract information is in place before order acknowledge
  • Sales order and contracts logging.
  • Ensure customer and project data input efficiently into CRM’s.
  • Post order communication with customer and chase deliveries.
  • Ensure coaching & development and correct certifications and accreditation of the service engineers.
  • Handling service refurbishment inquires.
  • Workshop Inventory support.
  • Ensure efficient collaboration with the other departments in the organisation.
