Munters is divided between two business units – FoodTech and AirTech. In this role, you become part of AirTech, which is a global leader in energy efficient air treatment for industrial and commercial applications. We offer climate solutions for mission-critical processes that require precise control of moisture and temperature, with energy efficiency and sustainable climate systems in focus.

As an Automation and Electrical group manager you will join the R&D team in our office at Kista, Stockholm. Here you will lead and develop the Controls and Electrical group, which contains around 25 people divided in three teams; Embedded, Control system and components, and Electrical. 

Your responsibilities will also include the following:

  • To plan activities, projects and resources during product life cycle – concept, product development and product maintenance / sustaining.
  • Ensure continuous improvements within processes, procedures etc.
  • Budget responsibilities
  • Being a member of the R&D Sweden Management group.

Experience and Skills

To be a match for this role you have a M.Sc. degree in a relevant field, such as Automation, Electronics or Electrical design. This role requires at least 10 years of professional experience within a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years of management experience.

Other key requirements for this position are:

  • Experience in Automation / controls of industrial products, as well as electrical design.
  • Experience in product development in industrial manufacturing companies.
  • Well- established people management and team development skills.
  • Fluency in both English and Swedish.

In this role you need to be a result orientated leader with great communicative skills, who takes initiative and drives them through from start to finish.
