Business Area FoodTech in Munters is the global leader in climate control for farms and greenhouses. We create the perfect climate for producing food in a sustainable way all around the world – 1 out of 7 meals prepared in the world, is affected by Munters equipment. After a recent acquisition of the software company MTech Systems, we are also leading a revolution in our industry - connecting and digitalizing the farms that grow the food on our tables.

We are a global company with business units in all regions but we expect to continue to grow the business, both organically and through acquisitions. To support the growth we need to further improve how we lead and drive performance in the business area. We are on a journey of constant improvement and we expect you to play a key role in many exciting projects. 

You will be an important part of the FoodTech Finance Leadership team, reporting directly to VP Finance.  

Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly business unit reviews, monthly closing process, and subsequent reporting to Group 
  • Proactively coach and work together with the Business units to ensure reporting is accurate 
  • Drive improvements related to how we report and analyze financial data including the development of BI Dashboards 
  • Take an active role in the FoodTech's annual planning process and financial forecasting 
  • Drive a performance management culture by analyzing and following financial performance together with business units to ensure that financial targets are met 
  • Perform analysis of the daily business, and translate conclusions to proposed actions 
  • Follow up and drive actions to implement FoodTech’s strategy 

Qualifications

It is very important that the candidate is interested in learning about and developing the business and translating numbers into conclusions and actions. 

  • MSc in Finance/Accounting, or equivalent work experience 
  • At least 5 - 10 years of experience within accounting/controlling 
  • Experience in Excel required. Knowledge about Qlik, IFS, and Aaro beneficial but not required. 
  • Experience with accounting principles, including IFRS and related international accounting standards. 
  • Fluent in English both verbally and in writing 

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Fluent in Mandarin and/or Swedish 
  • Experience from working in an international setting 
  • Experience from Business Control in manufacturing companies 

 

Be willing to travel to our units, and when the work requires, work outside normal office hours to interact with business units in Asia and the Americas.
