As Service Product Responsible, you will be responsible for technical maintenance of our Service product range.  Together with Product Management, Operations (production, sourcing, quality…), you support the Service organization with design and verification of new retrofit solutions and replacements, thereby enhancing our sales and solving issues for installed equipment.

Key Activities & Responsibilities

Service Product Responsible is a mechatronic engineer who takes the technical responsibility for a range of service products by delivering technical solutions with good and long-lasting mechanical and electrical designs:

  • Ensure that the new products meet technical and documentation demands
  • Ensure that the new products fulfill current, and upcoming, laws and regulations
  • Participate in Service product development and upgrade projects and drive implementation with key stakeholders in Operations and R&D
  • Prepare technical documents (CAD, drawings, tech data sheet, mechanical calculation…) needed during the different phases of the design process
  • Drive and participate in cost and lead time reduction activities
  • Improve the features and performance of the existing Service products
  • Strengthen and improve our knowledge on serviceability and technology
  • Drive and participate in continuous improvements within the Service Support team
  • Drive and coordinate communication between stakeholders

Education & Skills

We are looking for a dynamic and analytical professional who take the responsibility of given tasks and is willing to take on new challenges/goals. You are able to identify root case and address it, but you also know when to ask for assistance if issues are not resolved. We expect you to be creative, proactive, self-propelled and you need to be communicative and a good team player.

Other requirements are:

  • Mechatronics Engineer Bachelor or Master
  • High level of proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint/Excel/VBA)
  • Knowledge of any Proficient in modern CAD and PDM systems: SolidWorks and ePDM is an advantage
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes in the current situation
  • Very good English skills, written & spoken, any other language skills are a plus
  • Very good Swedish skills, written & spoken
