Job tasks and requirements

As the project leader within R&D, you lead and coordinate various projects in product development together with a team. In your projects, you work in all phases of product development from concept, design and verification to implementation in production. You work according to Munters product development model in the development of both new and existing products.

As a project leader, you will be working with the following tasks:

  • Develop timetables, goals and work with ongoing follow-up
  • Manage the entire flow of the project, from preparation to implementation and completion of projects
  • Communicate and collaborate with all participants in the project, such as product owners, production engineers, purchasing department
  • Develop routines and contribute to strategic development
  • Report, document the project
  • Present what concerns the project to stakeholders such as project owners, steering committee, product board

Your Profile

To work and thrive in the role, we believe that the right person has at least 5 years of experience from a similar role as project manager in product development. The role requires that you have a technical engineering degree with an appropriate focus, such as mechatronics, mechanics or electronics.

Skills required for the position are as follows:

  • Experience and expertise in product development of industrial or consumer products including automation & controls.
  • Experience in product development for series production
  • A habit of working with planning and follow-up tools in modern project management
  • Good communication skills in both English and Swedish
