Job Description

Munters has a vision to offer connected solutions for all products globally. For this exciting venture, we are now recruiting a new team that will belong to the head office in Kista but work globally in R&D.

As Control Platform Engineer, you are responsible for the interface between the application and the communication to the cloud. It includes planning and building an architecture for the system and setting strategies for names and nomenclature within the control systems that enable global standardization. You are responsible for producing documentation regarding requirements, tests, and methods. To some extent, the work will also include writing code and conducting tests. For the right person, there is an opportunity in the role to develop into a technical ownership.

In the role, you work closely with other colleagues within the team, as well as with colleagues in other parts of the organization. Together, you will clarify the customers’ needs and the added value that is created in the new functions and opportunities.

Your Profile

We believe you are a person who is development oriented and has a creative ability to find solutions to various problems. At the same time, you need to appreciate a good structure and understand the importance of careful documentation. You need to be unpretentious in your communication and enjoy working with multiple contact paths.

Furthermore, we believe you have:

  • An engineering degree in mechatronics, automation or similar
  • At least 10 years’ experience in working with PLCs and/or embedded systems
  • Good technical competence in software development of control systems for industrial products

It is a big plus if you have experience of working at a product company with connected products. As you in this position will work globally within Munters, you are required to be fluent in English in both speech and writing.
